East Boone Listening Room in the News!

In the news!

East Boone Listening Room, a new endeavor for Bloom House in collaboration with the Boone Studio Collective, was recently featured in the Watauga Democrat in an article written by Luke Barber.

In the article, he discusses the purpose behind the East Boone Listening Room, describes the feel of the space, and features snippets from each artist who performed in the first of the winter series on November 10th.

Bloom House co-founder, Meris Gantt was quoted in the article in the following passage:

Event organizer Meris Gantt said similar spaces exist in Lansing and Asheville and knew Boone would benefit by having its own intimate concert setting.

“I can’t say it’s an original idea, but I’ve seen more of it and knew we didn’t have it here,” Gantt said. “There’s so much talent in this area, but if you’re not in a band that’s playing the breweries and wineries, then where are you playing? So it’s giving those artists a voice and connecting the community with it.”
