Do these 7 things every year to keep your business healthy
It all begins with an idea…
From there come layers upon layers upon layers of intricate details to consider. Thinking about what to tackle first can be so overwhelming you stop dead in your tracks. I think it’s helpful to have a general road map to follow - but the other side of that coin is accepting that building and growing your business is a long and winding road where sometimes things just don’t go as planned.
What is Success?
I’ve been giving a lot of thought to what success actually is. The problem with success is how do we even know it when we get there. I’m a goal setter, first born, a high achiever, and recovering[ish] perfectionist. I’m aware of all of my strengths and weaknesses. I know how to cover my weakness by bringing in others who excel in the places I don’t. I am constantly striving, constantly searching for meaning, for connection and yes… for success.

Did you bite off more than you can chew?
We’ve all done it. Scheduled more things than we can humanly do. Whether you’re just trying to get through a busy day, week, month or season, here’s some practical tips for working through it without losing your mind.
12 Practical Tips For Getting “Unstuck”
1] Compile a list of things that make you happy or energized so that you can refer back to it later. I have a draft in my inbox that says “to read when you’re down”.
2] Accept it. You can’t be out there slaying it every single day. Having some downtime to reflect and not take action is the natural order of things.
3] Put on actual clothes and go somewhere. I literally put on real pants last night to go to Lowes and look at wall shelves that I wasn’t even planning on buying yet…just for a change of scenery.
How Did I Get Here….
From a business standpoint:
It’s setting stronger boundaries so that I can enjoy my work more.
It’s learning when to hustle and when and how to recharge.
It’s reinventing myself and my business if I feel like it’s moving in the wrong direction.
It’s listening to that little voice inside me that’s gently guiding me in the right direction.
It’s the patience to sit with an idea until it feels right instead of rushing into something.
It’s choosing not believe that it’s all been done before.
How do I get it all done?
Spoiler alert….you can’t! But you CAN map our your days with manageable goals so you’ll feel empowered and not inadequate.

For all of those times I wondered:
What side of things would I have been on?
What actions would I have taken?
What kind of life would I have carved out for myself?
Here it is...
